Pass Plus

Young Drivers

Every day in Scotland an average of 16 drivers aged between 17- 25 years are involved in a road crash. They are more likely to be involved in a crash than older drivers due to their lack of experience behind the wheel. Speed, driving too fast for the conditions and loss of control are the main causes.

New drivers need to develop their driving skills; observation, concentation, and anticipation. The Pass Plus Scheme is a training scheme designed to provide that necessary experience.

Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers. It helps them gain valuable driving experience and builds on existing knowledge and skills.I By gaining this experience it can reduce the risk of being involved in a road crash. It can also reduce insurance costs for young drivers.

Pass Plus consists of 6 modules with no test .
